Food, drugs, dyes, extracts, and minerals are all made up of complex elements, utilizing unidimensional chromatography to separate them is inefficient insensitive. This has sparked the invention several linked methods, each with distinct separation principles affinity for analyte interest. Multidimensional consists combination multiple techniques, great benefits at level efficiency, peak capacity, precision, accuracy analysis, while reducing time required analysis. Various coupled techniques have recently emerged, including liquid chromatography–gas (LC–GC), gas (GC–GC), chromatography–liquid (LC–LC), GCMS–MS, LCMS–MS, supercritical fluid electro-driven multidimensional techniques. In this paper, different will be discussed, along their wide spectrum applications food, flavor, environmental as well usefulness pharmaceutical, color, dyes industries.
